We currently have an exciting opportunity for a part-time Helpdesk Administrator to join our facilities team based at the University of Brighton in Brighton (Mithras House, Lewes Rd). This is a permanent position working 15 hours per week from 09:30 to 12:30, Monday to Friday.

Key Activities:

  • Support the Helpdesk by receiving calls, logging on the CAFM System, feeding through to operational staff and reporting back to the end user/customers.
  • To answer switchboard incoming calls.
  • Log Service Requests/Work Orders received by email or telephone on CAFM System.
  • To provide a professional approach towards customers and their needs
  • To provide administration support to the department
  • Working 15 hours per week from 09:30 to 12:30, Monday to Friday.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Must have experience of providing excellent customer service ideally on a helpdesk
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Able to work as part of a team and autonomously
  • Must have good IT skills (able to use Microsoft Office and management systems)
  • Well organised and able to prioritise workload
  • Ability to multi task in a busy work environment
  • Previous experience in a customer service/call centre role is desirable
  • Previous experience of using a CAFM system (Maximo or similar) is desirable
