About The Role:

We are currently recruiting MALE Support Workers to work with our client who has a Spinal Cord Injury, living in his own home in the Haydock area.

Our client has a Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle, it is an Automatic van so you must be prepared to drive the van and have a Full UK Driving License.

Our client is a big Rugby and Football fan, he is really into his sports, we are looking for Support Workers with similar interests.

Our client has a dog within his home, you must be comfortable around dogs.

You will be working with our client on a 2:1 basis, both days and waking nights.

Hours of Work:

8am – 3pm – Days (Mon – Sun)

3pm – 10pm – Days (Mon – Sun)

10pm – 8am – Waking nights (Mon – Sun)

Rates of Pay:

£17.00 per hour – Days (Mon – Fri)

£18.50 per hour – Days (Sat – Sun)

£18.50 per hour – Waking nights (Mon – Fri)

£20.00 per hour – Waking nights (Sat – Sun)

£12.21 – Training rate

About you:

Required

  • You must have an engaging personality
  • You must have a Full UK Clean Driving License
  • You must be comfortable to drive the WAV
  • Similar interests as our client (sports)
  • You must be comfortable around dogs

Desirable

  • Experience of working in care is preferred but full training will be provided
  • Registered on the DBS Updated Service.

An Enhanced Disclosure and Barring check WILL be required.
