with sleep rates paid £60 per night

Job Overview

As a Residential Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing assistance and care to individuals, particularly children, ensuring their well-being and development. You will be responsible for implementing care plans, fostering a supportive environment, and promoting independence. This position requires a compassionate individual with strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with families and other professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Assist children with daily activities, including personal care and social integration.
  • Implement and monitor individual care plans tailored to each child's needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of progress and any changes in behaviour or health.
  • Communicate effectively with children, families, and other support staff to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Provide transportation as needed, ensuring safe driving practices at all times.
  • Engage children in educational and recreational activities that promote their development.
  • Support families by providing guidance and resources related to childcare and development.

Skills

Ability to adapt to 24-hour rota's which will include, evenings, weekends, bank holidays and sleeping in.
