In this role, you will provide outstanding care and support to children and young people during the night, ensuring their safety, dignity, and well‑being. Our primary purpose is to protect young people in crisis and help them build a positive pathway for the future. You will play a vital role in supporting their education, health, independence, and confidence. Every night is different, and every young person is unique – your compassion and resilience will make a real impact. Experience & Skills of a Secure Childcare Worker Ability to demonstrate our core values: Integrity, Ambition, Courage, Compassion, Optimism, Respect, and Dignity. Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards this). Commitment to supporting vulnerable and traumatised young people. Strong understanding of child development, attachment, and the impact of trauma. Ability to manage challenging behaviour and respond effectively in crisis situations. Resilience, initiative, and a caring approach. Hours of Work Contracts available Full time (38 hours) and part time (19.5 hours) roles available.
