Support Worker / Personal Assistant required to support a vulnerable 39yr old lady with Asperger's & moderate learning difficulties, providing help with personal care; developing skills for independent living and ensuring personal safety whilst providing encouragement and companionship.

The lady is sociable, lively, and determined; enjoys art, music reading & cinema. She does a lot of work in the voluntary sector, promoting disability issues, and contributes to training sessions for nurses and social workers at local Universities. She attends Advocacy Group meetings in Chester (and online). She is also involved with creating "easy read" documents for people with disabilities, so needs a PA who can help her organise her diary, attend meetings and workshops etc. and help her understand what tasks she is being assigned.

Female preferred due to personal care Permitted under 'Schedule 9, part 1 of the Equality Act 2010'

Car driver essential as the role involves providing support attending meetings and workshops in the local area.

DBS check will be required (employer to finance if necessary)

Full training will be provided

23hrs a week to be worked over 3 or 4 days depending on availability.

£15.00 per hour
