Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to take ownership of the company's financial strategy, credit management, supplier relationships, and investment oversight. This is a senior role requiring strong commercial awareness, international experience, and financial leadership.

The successful candidate will:

• Oversee financial planning and strategic account management.

• Manage credit risk and accounts receivable.

• Lead supplier and stakeholder relationship management.

• Drive investment and cash allocation decisions to support business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Financial & Investment Management

• Develop and manage financial strategies to support business growth and international trade.

• Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and investment opportunities.

• Advise management on financial risk, funding, and strategic allocation of resources.

• Oversee financial reporting and ensure compliance with UK accounting standards and regulations.

Credit Management

• Implement credit policies and risk assessments for customers and suppliers.

• Manage accounts receivable and collections strategy to optimize cash flow.

• Resolve credit disputes and manage financial claims with partners and suppliers.

Relationship Management

• Build and maintain strong relationships with international suppliers, banks, and business partners.

• Coordinate communication and negotiation on payment terms, financial agreements, and trade contracts.

• Act as a key point of contact for financial and operational collaboration with stakeholders.

Strategic Oversight

• Provide insights and recommendations to management for long-term financial planning.

• Analyze business performance, market trends, and financial opportunities.

• Ensure all financial operations are compliant, accurate, and aligned with company goals.

Qualifications & Skills

Essential:

• Professional qualification in finance, accounting, or related field (ACCA, CIMA, ACA, CFA).

• Proven experience in financial management, credit management, investment oversight, or relationship management.

• Strong knowledge of UK accounting standards, corporate finance, and risk management.

• Experience in multi-currency and international trade finance.

• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

• Proficiency with financial software and advanced Excel skills.

Desirable:

• Basic communication skills in Mandarin.

• Previous experience in retail import/export, international trade, or supplier financing.

• Experience leading teams or managing cross-functional financial projects.

• Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday

• Salary: Competitive, based on experience
