Eventus Legal are seeking a Private Client Assistant with experience to join a regional law firm. This is a permanent, office-based position in their Silsden office, West Yorkshire. The firm offers a generous salary, along with a holiday allowance of 23 days plus bank holidays (which rises incrementally with service) and extra leave over Christmas, company paid Healthcare plan, pension scheme and a huge focus on personal development.

Role Responsibilities

The incoming Private Client Assistant will be expected to provide secretarial assistance to the Private Client team. You will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Effective and accurate case management, using proclaim
  • Preparation, organisation and archiving of legal files and supporting documentation
  • Diary management
  • Audio typing, word processing and digital dictation
  • Dealing with clients and other legal professionals by telephone and in-person
Person Specification

Applications are sought from legal professionals with experience in Private Client law. The Private Client Assistant will be proactive, with the ability to provide excellent client care and possess the following skills:

  • Show a keen eye for detail
  • Good interpersonal and organisational skills
  • Ability to organise and prioritise your workload within the required timescales
  • Good I.T skills
  • A positive outlook
  • A strong desire to offer outstanding service.
