Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Community Care Worker to provide essential support to individuals in their homes and communities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our clients, particularly those requiring assistance with daily living activities. This role involves working closely with clients who may have varying needs, including dementia care and hospice care, ensuring they receive the highest standard of care in a respectful and dignified manner.

Your experience is not important as we will provide all training necessary to develop with us. What is important though, is treating every client like a family member of your own With these values and help from us, you will have everything you need to be an amazing carer

Duties

  • Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' well-being.
  • Support clients with meal preparation, ensuring dietary needs are met.
  • Administer medication as prescribed and monitor clients for any changes in health status.
  • Assist with mobility and transportation, including driving clients to appointments or social activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of client care and report any concerns to the supervising nurse or care manager.
  • Engage clients in activities that promote mental and physical health, tailored to their individual preferences and abilities.
  • Provide support for families during challenging times, offering guidance and resources as needed.

Requirements

  • A valid driving licence is required for transportation duties.
  • Certification in First Aid is advantageous.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • A caring attitude with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and flexibility in scheduling.

  • Must have the right to work in the UK
  • Holds a current or willing to undertake a DBS check.
  • Is able to properly follow procedure & company policy
  • Car drivers & vehicle owners are preferable
