We have recently merged with another respected accountancy firm and we are seeking a skilled and reliable Bookkeeper to join our professional team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced individual to contribute to a well-regarded firm that values precision, integrity, and client service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate financial records for a range of clients
  • Prepare and submit VAT returns and other submissions to Government Bodies
  • Reconcile bank accounts and manage ledgers
  • Liaise with clients to resolve queries and provide support
  • Collaborate with accountants to ensure smooth year-end processes

Candidate Profile:

  • Proven experience in bookkeeping, ideally within an accountancy practice
  • Proficiency in cloud-based accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks etc)
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Excellent communication and client service abilities
  • A proactive and professional approach to work
  • Must have the right to work in the UK
  • Candidates must be able to commute to our Crewe office within a reasonable time
