About Us

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Years Educator to join our team in our newly opened nature-led Early Years Nursery School, in East Molesey. The nursery is located a short walk from Hampton Court train station. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and experience working with young children. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in children's lives by providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment. The Early Years Educator will be responsible for supporting children's development, organising engaging activities, and fostering positive relationships with children and their families.

Duties

  • Plan and deliver age-appropriate educational activities that promote learning through play
  • Support children's emotional, social, and physical development
  • Maintain a safe and hygienic environment in line with health and safety regulations
  • Observe and record children's progress, sharing insights with parents and colleagues
  • Manage daily routines including meal times, nap times, and outdoor play
  • Lead by example in demonstrating management and leadership skills within the team
  • Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to ensure a collaborative approach to childcare
  • Assist with organising outings or trips, including driving when necessary
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of the nursery's curriculum and policies

Person Specification

  • Must have Level 3 Early Years / Nursery Practitioner / Childcare Diploma
  • Passionate about supporting children's development and creating a nurturing environment
  • Proven experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting is essential
  • Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
  • Demonstrated management and leadership skills within a childcare environment
  • Experience with organising activities that support child development
  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal
