Summary
The Galleria is evolving — and we're looking for a commercial trailblazer to lead our
leasing growth. As New Acquisitions Lead, you'll drive the next chapter of our retail mix:
identifying, engaging, and securing new tenants — from major retailers to independent
and alternative brands shaping modern shopping. You'll operate with autonomy, working
directly with ownership to shape strategy, close deals, and bring new energy to The
Galleria's retail experience. This is a strategic leasing role with real growth potential —
ideal for a persuasive, AI-savvy dealmaker who knows how to turn opportunity into
occupancy.
What you'll do:
• Lead proactive outreach to target retailers, independents, and alternative
brands.
• Craft and deliver persuasive, personalised pitches using both traditional and
AI-powered tools.
• Identify and convert high-value leads through direct marketing, networking,
and relationship-building.
• Collaborate with external licensing and brand partners to maximise leasing
potential.
• Develop and present proposals that balance commercial value with The
Galleria's brand vision.
• Track, report, and refine acquisition performance using data-driven insights.
What you'll bring:
• AI proficiency especially with generative AI and OpenAI systems for outreach,
automation, and insights. (Desired)
• Persuasive communication — charming, credible, and commercially minded.

• Must have access to a car for ease of travelling within the local community
catchment area. (Desirable)
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Business, Marketing, Real
Estate, or Communications.
• Proven experience in leasing, business development, or retail partnerships.

• Familiarity with AI and digital tools for lead generation, CRM, and
communication. (Essential)
• Strong presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Additional coursework or certifications in Real Estate, Sales, or AI for
Business a plus.
Salary: £30,000 base + very generous performance-based commission
Higher salary will be considered for those with experience and proven track record in
retail leasing.
Onsite: The Galleria, Hatfield (5 days/week, 9–5pm) unless travelling to meet
prospective retailers.
Start date: Immediate
