London, Greater London, United Kingdom Donald Insall Associates Full time £40,000 - £70,000 per year

Are you looking for an opportunity to help shape a modern, thoughtful and people-centred approach to HR? We're hiring a people & talent administrator to join our London studio.

About us

Donald Insall Associates is a team of architects, historians, specialists and operators committed to the care and conservation of historic buildings and places. We're a market leader in our field with an outstanding reputation and with around 140 colleagues across seven UK offices, we're proud of our rich heritage and excited about our future.

We're entering a new phase of growth, guided by a clear strategic business plan that will see us expand our impact and capabilities over the coming years. Central to this journey is our commitment to building a high-quality People & Talent capability — one that supports our people, strengthens our culture, and helps us attract and retain the very best talent.

Under the leadership of our newly appointed and experienced Head of People, we're building a People team that will deliver first-class people operations while also designing and implementing a high quality end-to-end employee experience — from recruitment and onboarding through to development, progression, engagement and more.

About the role

You'll be joining at a key point as we shape how we support our colleagues day-to-day, while also building the foundations for a modern, thoughtful, and people-centred approach to HR.

You'll work across both recruitment and people operations, flexing how you balance your time depending on the needs and priorities of the business. You'll be need to be motivated by delivering superb and critical administrative support…often highly detailed and repetitive, but needing high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.

Alongside being at the heart of how we deliver a great day to day employee and candidate experience, you'll also be involved in a wide range of 'design, build and Implement' projects as we deliver on our People Strategy. This is likely to include some or all of: culture development, line manager development, performance framework, reward, EVP design and much more.

We're yet to implement an ATS or HRIS, but both are in our plans for the next 6 months. In particular we'd want to have a key role in how we onboard and use our HRIS
