About The Role:
The Facilities Assistant reports to the Facilities Manager and is responsible for delivering facilities services to customers in a courteous and efficient manner. Your primary role will be to support and help manage the goods in and goods out function of the business, manage the three loading bays, assist with general maintenance tasks, and be responsible for event and meeting set ups. You will assist in a broad range of activities throughout the building and always help to manage security and health & safety risks.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Receive and keep records of deliveries from couriers.
  • Configure conference rooms and offices to accommodate events and meetings.
  • Distribute mail and goods to customers on regular rounds of the building.
  • Managing the storage of goods and keep loading bays tidy.
  • Maintain high level of security for the building, the contents and customers.
  • Assist with fire alarm drills, evacuations and weekly tests.
  • Assist the facilities department with office moves and other general ad hoc projects
  • Carry out general health and safety duties.
  • Assist with general maintenance tasks as needed.
  • Ensure the delivery of facilities management services to a high standard. Identify opportunities that will continuously improve all aspects of facilities management.
  • Attend training as required.
