Job Summary:

We are looking for enthusiastic and customer-focused Front of House Staff to join our team. As part of our front-of-house team, you will be the face of The Anchor Inn, providing excellent service, ensuring guests feel welcome, and helping to maintain the friendly atmosphere that we are known for.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and seat customers in a warm and friendly manner
  • Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently
  • Serve food and beverages with professionalism and attentiveness
  • Ensure tables are kept clean and tidy throughout service
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth service
  • Process payments and operate the till system
  • Uphold high standards of hygiene and cleanliness

Requirements:

  • A positive attitude and excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Previous experience in a hospitality or customer service role is beneficial but not essential
  • Willingness to learn and take on new tasks
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays
