The Role
Reporting to the People Manager, we are looking for an organised and proactive People Advisor to support the smooth running of our people operations. You'll be hands-on in delivering day-to-day HR administration, onboarding, recruitment coordination, and employee relations support, helping ensure our people processes are consistent, efficient, and employee-friendly.

Key Responsibilities
People Administration
- Manage employee lifecycle administration including contracts, changes, and leavers.
- Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure a positive experience for all employees.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems, ensuring data integrity and compliance.
- Monitor absence and support with sickness reporting.
Employee Relations Support
- Provide first-line advice to managers and employees on day-to-day HR queries.
- Support with note-taking and documentation for disciplinary, grievance, and capability meetings.
- Escalate complex ER matters to the Senior People Partner or Head of People.
Recruitment Support
- Coordinate the recruitment process, including advertising roles, screening CVs, and arranging interviews.
- Support assessment days and interviews alongside hiring managers.
- Ensure a smooth and positive candidate experience.
Policy & Compliance
- Assist with maintaining and updating HR policies and procedures.
- Stay informed of key employment law updates and share relevant insights with the People team.
About You
- Previous experience in an HR / People administrative or advisory role.
- Good understanding of core HR processes and UK employment law fundamentals.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to handle sensitive information with discretion.
- CIPD Level 3 (or working towards Level 5) preferred.
- A degree or previous experience in an Employee Relations role will be a strong advantage.
