About Mystery Ticket Club
Mystery Ticket Club is a new membership organisation where individuals get one ticket to a surprise members-only event each month - plus a community to share it with.
The Role
As Host, you'll be the person who makes that community and the events come alive. Think of it as a society, an experience and a movement, and you'll be the face of it in your region.
We're looking for a charismatic, confident, and fun-loving Host. You'll welcome our members, keep the energy high, and turn each event into an unforgettable night.
Part entertainer, part community-builder, part organiser — you'll bring the "club" to life.
What You'll Do
- Be the Face of the Club – Welcome 150–200 members each month, get them buzzing, and make them feel part of something special.
- Keep the Energy Alive – Work the crowd, make announcements, hype up the event itself, and keep things fun from start to finish.
- Build the Community – Be a regular, familiar face that members look forward to seeing every month.
- Engage with Members – Make a purposeful effort to engage with all attendees (we want you on first name terms with everyone there).
- Handle Light Logistics – Arrive early, liaise with the activity provider, make sure the space is ready, and handle any issues that may arise.
- Be On Brand – Bring the Mystery Ticket Club vibe to life: playful, exciting, and welcoming, whilst playing into the tongue-in-check nature of the 'members-only' club that we're trying to create.
What We're Looking For
- A natural performer — comedian, MC, actor, entertainer, or just someone with a huge personality.
- Confident with a mic and comfortable in front of 200 people.
- Fun, playful, and likeable — someone people want to follow.
- Organised enough to handle light event management, liaise with providers and venues, and deal with issues if they arise.
- Based in or near one of our cities (Birmingham, Manchester, London — with more to follow).
- Reliable, professional, and committed to being "the face" of the Club in your region.
We welcome Hosts from all backgrounds — experience in performance is great, but personality and presence matter most.
