We're looking for a part-time Event Host to join our team at Whitworth Locke on a 6-month Fixed Term Contract.

**The role.**

Are you a natural host? A people person with next-level organisational skills? Do you get a kick from creating a seamless, welcoming experience?

Reporting to the Assistant General Manager, you’ll be a key member of the events and front of house team and the face of the Locke brand. It’ll be up to you to make our event organisers and guests feel at home from the minute they arrive, until the minute they leave (if they can bring themselves to do that ).

**What it looks like;**
- Creating tell-your-mates experiences that makes guests want to keep coming back
- Setting up, breaking down and running the day-to-day event operations
- Being a friendly face and go-to person for guests, organisers and visitors
- Being empowered to use your initiative when dealing with guest complaints or operational challenges
- Being an active member of the team in meetings and development sessions
- Supporting the management team in ensuring our spaces stay looking fresh
- Liaising with contractors and suppliers

**What you'll need;**
- Experience in events or a customer-facing role
- Intuitive customer service
- Natural influencing skills with a knack for managing expectations
- Proven sales ability
- Reliable decision-making, with impeccable attention to detail

**When and Where?**

We believe in working flexibly - this includes flexibility in work location, working days (including weekends and bank holidays in operations) and working hours. This may be ad hoc or permanent flexibility. Ask your recruiting manager or see our careers page for more information.

**Please be aware that this is a part-time role where you will be working 15 hours per week.**

**Please note that this position is a 6-month Fixed Term Contract.**
