ETEL Technology

Supporting over 800 locations including our retail centres, warehouses and dealership sites is no small task. Our Technology department plays a key role in delivering a high quality service to ETEL's customers 7 days a week. With positions in Architecture, Software Development, Project Management and Technology Operations, our Technology Team provides a complete end to end service to the ETEL business.

The role

At ETEL, we're driving innovation and transformation across the automotive and tyre distribution industry. We're looking for a strategic and experienced Senior Business Analyst to lead high-impact initiatives, shape business strategy, and deliver data-driven insights that fuel growth.

As a Senior Business Analyst, you'll act as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams. You'll lead the analysis of complex business problems, design innovative solutions, and ensure successful implementation across the organization.

This permanent role is based upon 40hrs/week between Monday and Friday. The Technology team currently work a hybrid model with time weekly in the office and at home, with travel to meetings, suppliers and offices throughout the ETEL estate depending on the needs of the business.

Key accountabilities

  • Lead end-to-end business analysis for strategic projects and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders to define business goals and success metrics.
  • Translate business needs into detailed requirements, user stories, and process flows.
  • Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Drive continuous improvement through process optimization and automation.
  • Contribute to best practices in business analysis.

Skills & experience

  • 5+ years experience in business analysis with proven delivery in senior or lead roles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills using standards and tools.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Economics, IT, or a related field.

Desirable:

  • Experience in automotive, distribution or supply chain industries
  • Familiarity with CRM, ERP, or enterprise-level systems.
  • Business Analysis certification
  • Full UK Cat B drivers licence
