Job Summary

The NetSuite Administrator will play a pivotal role in managing, maintaining, and optimizing the company's NetSuite ERP system to support daily operations and long-term growth. Acting as the primary point of contact for all NetSuite-related administration, configuration, customization, and troubleshooting, this individual will ensure that the system is reliable, efficient, and aligned with business goals.

You will work closely with Finance, HR, Operations, Procurement, Logistics, and IT teams to improve workflows, enhance reporting capabilities, and deliver process automation. The mission of this role is to maximize the value of the ERP system by ensuring data integrity, process efficiency, and actionable business insights through system excellence.

Key Responsibilities

System Administration & Optimization

  • Serve as the primary owner of the NetSuite ERP platform, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and reliability.

  • Manage user roles, permissions, licenses, and security access.

  • Configure and customize fields, records, workflows, forms, and dashboards to support evolving business needs.

  • Maintain sandbox environments for testing, training, and development.

  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and liaise with NetSuite Support when needed.

  • Ensure thorough documentation of configurations, workflows, and system processes.

Process Improvement & Business Partnering

  • Partner with cross-functional teams (Finance, Operations, HR, Procurement, Logistics) to identify process gaps and translate business requirements into scalable NetSuite solutions.

  • Design and implement automation, workflow, and reporting enhancements to improve system efficiency and user experience.

  • Provide ongoing end-user training, onboarding support, and user documentation.

  • Advise leadership on leveraging NetSuite for data-driven decision-making and operational improvement.

Integrations & Technology Management

  • Manage integrations between NetSuite and other key systems (CRM, HRIS, Procurement, Project tools) using middleware (e.g., Celigo, Dell Boomi) or APIs.

  • Collaborate with IT and third-party vendors on design, implementation, and support of integrations and new modules.

  • Lead system upgrades, patches, and module rollouts while minimizing business disruption.

  • Enforce data governance, compliance, and security best practices.

Project Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Lead NetSuite-related projects from requirements gathering through testing, deployment, and user adoption.

  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable communication for non-technical stakeholders.

  • Drive cross-department initiatives to align system capabilities with organizational goals.

Leadership & Mentorship

  • Establish and uphold best practices, documentation standards, and governance policies for NetSuite use.

  • Mentor junior administrators or analysts and act as the ERP subject matter expert (SME).

  • Build a center of excellence for ERP knowledge and support within the organization.

Qualifications

Technical Expertise

  • 5–7+ years of hands-on NetSuite administration experience.

  • Strong understanding of ERP workflows, configuration, customization, and data migration.

  • Proficiency in NetSuite modules such as Finance, CRM, HR, Inventory, Procurement, Projects, and Manufacturing.

  • Expertise in SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, SuiteTalk, SuiteAnalytics, and SuiteBuilder.

  • Experience with system integrations and middleware (e.g., Dell Boomi, Celigo, custom APIs).

  • Advanced reporting and analytics skills — saved searches, dashboards, KPIs, and business intelligence.

Strategic & Cross-Functional Skills

  • Proven ability to translate business requirements into scalable system solutions.

  • Experience collaborating with Finance, HR, Operations, and IT teams to optimize workflows.

  • Knowledge of system governance, audit readiness, and compliance (e.g., ISO frameworks).

  • Demonstrated success leading system upgrades and implementations in multi-entity/global environments.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.

Leadership & Communication

  • Excellent project management and stakeholder communication skills.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver initiatives on time.

  • Strong leadership presence with mentoring experience and a collaborative mindset.

Education & Certifications

  • NetSuite Certified Administrator (required).

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting/Finance, or related field.

  • Additional certifications in PMP, Agile, or ITIL are advantageous.

Working Environment

  • Based in Letchworth, UK (hybrid work options available).

  • Primarily office-based with flexibility for remote work.

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk/computer.

  • Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.

Work Schedule

  • Full-time, 40 hours per week (Monday–Friday).

  • Hybrid work model available.

Travel Requirements

  • Occasional domestic and international travel required.
