Customer Experience Specialist

Location: Walsall Wood WS9

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, between 9am - 6pm

Day-to-Day Expectations:

As a Customer Experience Specialist, you will be the key point of contact for customers, handling bookings and inquiries efficiently. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing customer bookings for collections and deliveries.
  • Providing outstanding customer support via telephone and email.
  • Handling high call volumes (up to 30 calls per hour during peak times).
  • Supporting the wider customer base with inquiries and service updates.
  • Liaising with internal teams to ensure smooth customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process customer requests quickly and accurately, ensuring a seamless booking experience.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, offering solutions where needed.
  • Work closely with our transport team to coordinate collections and deliveries.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of customer interactions.
  • Utilize Excel and other systems to track and manage bookings effectively.
  • Handle any customer concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive team culture where everyone's input is valued.

What We're Looking For:

  • Outstanding communication skills and a confident telephone manner.
  • Ability to handle high call volumes while maintaining excellent service.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced Excel skills (preferred but not essential).
  • A customer-first mindset, always aiming to provide the best service possible.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and teamwork.
  • Previous customer service experience is beneficial, but full training is provided.
