You will join a fantastic team in a residential service based in Edgbaston. The individuals we support here lead a happy, varied and fulfilled lifestyles that reflect their individuality and preferences.
As a Deputy Care Manager, you will support the Registered Care Manager in providing high-quality, personalised care to individuals. Your responsibilities include 15 hours of direct support as a Support Worker and 22.5 office hours for staff management tasks, such as creating rotas and mentoring Support Workers.
About this service & requirements for the role:
- 7 people supported
- Supports individuals with sensory, complex needs and learning disabilities.
- Full UK manual license essential- as we have company vehicles used to drive and take individuals to appointments, activities outside of the home and trips.
- Prior experience of working in a Social Care setting such as Community/Residential/Supported Living is essential.
- Knowledge of multiple sensory impairments, physical and/or learning disabilities is desirable.
