Human Resources Manager – Dartford (On-Site)

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced
Human Resources Manager
to lead and elevate the HR function within a dynamic and growing organisation. This role is perfect for a strategic, people-focused HR professional who thrives on shaping culture, driving performance, and partnering with leaders to achieve organisational goals.

About the Role

As the HR Manager, you will deliver both strategic direction and hands-on HR support across the business. You will act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees on all people-related matters, ensuring legal compliance, consistency, and best practice.

The role also includes leadership responsibility for the
Health & Safety
and
Hospitality
teams, along with occasional support for smaller UK entities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide proactive, pragmatic, and commercially aligned HR guidance to managers and employees.
  • Lead, inspire and develop the HR team to deliver exceptional service and timely support.
  • Design and implement a people strategy that supports a high-performance culture and aligns with organisational objectives.
  • Coach and mentor line managers to ensure consistent and effective application of HR procedures.
  • Constructively challenge to promote accountability, strong leadership, and effective people management.
  • Develop and improve HR policies, tools, templates and processes to maintain legal compliance and operational efficiency.
  • Lead workforce planning and manage full-cycle recruitment.
  • Own the performance management process, driving employee development, goal achievement and succession planning.
  • Provide expertise in employee relations, reward, restructures, TUPE, payroll processes, contracts and HRIS.
  • Foster employee engagement and champion organisational values.
  • Manage annual reward cycles, including pay reviews and bonus processes.
  • Monitor HR KPIs and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborate with international colleagues on HR projects and initiatives.
