Role Overview:

We are seeking a creative and motivated Social Media Intern with a passion for basketball. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in social media management, content creation, and digital marketing within the sports media industry. As a Social Media Intern, you will play a key role in enhancing our online presence and engaging our audience through compelling basketball-related content.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing and executing social media strategies to promote youth basketball content.
  • Create and curate engaging and relevant content for various social media platforms, including Instagram, X (formerly Twitter), Facebook, and TikTok.
  • Collaborate with the content team to brainstorm and develop new ideas for social media campaigns and posts.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in social media and basketball.

Qualifications:

  • Passion for basketball and a strong understanding of the sport.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with major social media platforms and their best practices.
  • Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Intermediate knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite).
  • Intermediate knowledge of Video editing software (Premier Pro, Capcut, Final Cut or similar)
