About the Role
We are looking for a dependable and organised Administrative Assistant / Service Coordinator to support the daily operations of our electrical, plumbing, gas, refrigeration, and air conditioning business.
This role involves general office administration, answering calls and emails, assisting with scheduling, and ensuring smooth communication between clients and engineers. You will work closely with senior office staff to help keep projects, paperwork, and schedules running efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Answer phone calls and emails in a polite and professional manner
Assist in preparing quotations and sending them to clients
Help schedule engineers and subcontractors for upcoming work
Book deliveries and materials as directed
Record and update job details and engineer reports in our digital system
Support invoicing and follow up with clients where required
Keep records up to date in our paperless office system
Assist with organising vehicle maintenance, training bookings, and other team requirements
Provide general administrative support to the office team
Skills & Experience Required
Previous experience in an administrative or office support role
Confident using computers and modern digital office systems
Good written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping
Ability to multitask and prioritise workload effectively
Professional and friendly manner with clients and colleagues
Experience in a trade, engineering, or building services environment is beneficial but not essential
