We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven
Area Account Manager (AAM)
to join our Commercial Downstream team at
Alliance Healthcare
, a Cencora company. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for maximising sales and profit throughout Yorkshire by providing exceptional account management and customer support. Your mission will be to grow existing customer accounts and win new business, all while achieving key commercial objectives through strong customer relationships.

Responsibilities
Account Development & Territory Planning:

  • Construct and maintain an effective journey plan for territory management.
  • Analyse existing and prospect customers to report on business development.
  • Monitor competitor activity and report findings to the Head of Region.

Sales Management

  • Prepare thoroughly for customer calls to achieve targeted sales and profit levels.
  • Evaluate customer needs and financial data to tailor your approach.

Administration

  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of all administrative tasks.
  • Maintain all company equipment to high standards.
  • Communicate effectively across all company functions to support territory plans.

Relationship Building

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers and industry stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve business objectives and share market insight

Essential Skills

  • High standard of communication, both verbal and written.
  • Proven ability to develop customer relationships and win new business.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills.
  • Excellent influencing and negotiation abilities.
  • Numerate and proficient in IT.
  • Results-oriented with a strong commercial focus.
  • Full UK Driving Licence

Desirable Skills

  • In-depth experience in negotiations within a complex trading environment.
  • Financial awareness and commercial acumen.

Experience Required

  • Structured field sales experience.

Salary: £33,000-£35,000 + Functional Bonus + Company Car
