Accounts Assistant
to support our client money function.

The Role

You'll join our busy Accounts Department, helping to manage the financial side of the developments we look after. This is a key role ensuring all payments, receipts, and service charge transactions are processed accurately and on time.

Working closely with our Accounts Team, you'll be responsible for day-to-day banking, allocating payments, maintaining accurate leaseholder records, and credit control activities.

If you enjoy fast paced, organised, methodical work, have strong attention to detail, and like seeing numbers balance perfectly, this could be the role for you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Allocate incoming payments and process outgoing transactions via Resident CRM and Barclays.
  • Handle leaseholder payment queries and credit control, including reminders and reconciliations.
  • Maintain and update direct debit mandates and refund requests.
  • Support supplier invoice processing.
  • Keep accurate records of all financial activity and documentation.
  • Work collaboratively with the wider admin and property management teams to ensure smooth communication.

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
  • Confident working with numbers and spreadsheets.
  • Comfortable handling routine finance and data-entry tasks accurately.
  • A good communicator – able to deal professionally with leaseholders and suppliers.
  • A team player with a proactive, "get it right first time" attitude.

Experience in a property, lettings, or service charge accounting environment is desirable but not essential — full training will be provided. Basic knowledge of bookkeeping or finance administration is beneficial.
