Role Overview
We are looking for a driven Sales Director to spearhead sales growth across the UK and Ireland. This results driven position will focus on achieving strategic goals while embodying our core values of Innovation, Responsibility, Experience, Uniqueness, and Sustainability. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in low value/high volume sales within the printing, packaging, or label industry, and will be responsible for delivering specific sales goals under pressure while aligning with our company's mission.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Leadership: Lead and develop sales opportunities across the UK and Ireland, ensuring alignment with PPF's strategic goals and driving consistent sales growth.
- Strategic Execution: Collaborate with senior management to create and implement sales strategies that reflect PPF's core values—Innovation, Responsibility, and Sustainability.
- Project Management: to be professional in managing projects through effective communications and detailed technical solution finding. To follow all customer projects to the end with timely communications and interventions ensuring a successful outcome.
- Client Relationships: Cultivate and maintain long-term relationships with key customers, tailoring solutions that are both unique and sustainable.
- Market Expansion: Identify and explore new business opportunities while driving the company's growth across the UK and Ireland.
- Performance Monitoring: Use data and analytics to monitor performance and ensure KPIs are met, providing insights to senior management for continuous improvement.
- Negotiation and Deal Closing: Lead negotiations to close high-volume, low-value sales while ensuring the delivery of quality services that adhere to our responsible business practices.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience: Demonstrated success in a senior sales role, particularly in low value/high volume sales within the printing, packaging, and/or label industry.
- Leadership: Proven experience in managing and motivating, ensuring alignment with both strategic goals and PPF's core values.
- Strategic Vision: Experience in developing and executing sales strategies that align with a company's long-term vision and values.
- Ability to Thrive Under Pressure: Comfort with working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining focus on delivering results.
- Negotiation Skills: Strong ability to negotiate and close deals while keeping customer satisfaction and quality of service at the forefront.
- Location: Based in the Midlands, with travel requirements across the UK and Ireland.
