About us

Bladon House School in Staffordshire specialises supporting young people with autism, speech and language disorders, moderate to severe learning difficulties and associated behavioural difficulties. We provide person centred care and education and aim to help our students to find a way of life that suits them. We have excellent facilities, an onsite farm and an exceptional team who are committed to the care and support of our students.

We are seeking caring and resilient Teaching Assistants to ensure the smooth running of the school day. You will enable our young people to make progress towards positive outcomes, promoting a love of learning and safeguarding them at all times.

You will monitor and evaluate each young person's work, encouraging them and celebrating their achieval of personal goals. At times, you'll be responsible for directly teaching, and also supporting in challenging situations.

Personal care of students will also be required at times.

In order to be successful, you must be a passionate and experienced Teaching Assistant, who holds a relevant qualification in teaching and learning. SLD experience is preferred / desirable.
