Job introduction

We are looking for a School Chef to join our team as soon as possible. You will be employed for 39 weeks of the year (Term time only), 37 hours per week: Monday-Friday 6:30am to 2:30pm. LGA Pay Scale 5 - Point 13-17 Full-time salary £29,064 - £31,022 Actual pro rata salary is £25,179 - £ per annum.

Patcham High School is an 11–16 comprehensive school of 1,100 students, situated on the northern outskirts of Brighton, very close to the old village of Patcham. We are looking for an ambitious, enthusiastic and forward-looking professional to work within our Catering team. We aim to provide affordable, healthy, nutritious and delicious food, cooked from scratch using fresh ingredients.

Paid weeks per year: 39 (inclusive of holiday entitlement)

Start date: As soon as possible
