Our calender for the rest of this year and next year is shaping up to be our busiest time yet so we are looking for an experienced bar supervisor to join our team.

A bit about us...

The Lansdowne is a busy bar/restaurant/hotel and events venue in the heart of the Antrim Road. We offer live music 6 nights a week and a pub quiz every Tuesday. We have innovative cocktails & sumptuous grub. Our clientele has lots of regulars who you will get to know as well as first-time visitors from Belfast and far beyond. This move will be a great challenge for someone looking a new experience in a growing independent business.

The ideal candidate will;

  • Have at least 2 years experience working in a similar role in a busy hospitality venue.
  • Be flexible to work a variety of shifts throughout the week, at weekends and including holidays.
  • Have real passion for great service and making top-class drinks
  • A dedication to staff training - growing our team is what we're all about. Your role will include the ongoing process of individual development of our team - overseeing their drinks service (efficiency and quality) and cocktail making processes especially
  • Have sound knowledge of cocktails (full training of our Lansdowne cocktail list will be provided to the successful candidate)
  • Love a completing a good check-list and getting a bar well set-up for a busy service & a good clean down at the end of the night. Overseeing and checking the whole teams check-lists too so they are up to our standards
  • Be a clean-freak with super organisational skills
  • Have solid drinks knowledge of cocktails, wines, spirits
  • Be comfortable working independently, as part of a management team & mentoring new staff
  • Have strong leadership skills and be able to lead a team of bar staff
  • Be able to work in a fast paced environment
  • Have solid experience in cash-handling, cash ups, stock control, rotas, till systems, recording spillages & stock usage
  • Be organised to making sure we are prepared for the next day and days ahead

We offer competitive hourly rates as well as a generous performance based bonus.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £14.00 per hour
