Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook a variety of grilled dishes with precision, consistency, and flair, ensuring all food meets safety and quality standards.
  • Oversee food production processes, including menu planning, portion control, and presentation to enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste to optimize kitchen efficiency.
  • Supervise kitchen staff during shifts, providing leadership, training, and support to foster a cohesive team environment.
  • Maintain strict adherence to food safety protocols and sanitation standards across all kitchen operations.
  • Collaborate with the dietary department to accommodate special dietary needs and ensure menu flexibility.
  • Assist with catering events and banquet functions, ensuring timely preparation and exceptional service delivery.
  • Oversee kitchen operations during busy periods, managing workflow and coordinating with front-of-house staff for seamless service.

Skills

  • Extensive culinary experience with a focus on grilling techniques and food preparation in fine dining or catering environments.
  • Proven supervisory skills with experience managing kitchen teams and overseeing shift operations.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, inventory management, and food handling procedures.
  • Experience in banquet service, event catering, or large-scale food production is highly desirable.
  • Leadership qualities that inspire teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement within the culinary team.
  • Excellent organizational skills for menu planning, inventory control, and shift management.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced settings while maintaining attention to detail and high standards of quality.
  • Familiarity with restaurant management practices including food service management, kitchen operations, and hospitality principles.
