Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead our culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive culinary expertise, and a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences. This role involves overseeing all aspects of food preparation, ensuring high standards of food safety, and managing kitchen operations efficiently. Duties

  • Lead and supervise the kitchen team, including chefs and kitchen staff, ensuring smooth daily operations
  • Develop innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends and meet customer preferences
  • Oversee food production, ensuring dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation
  • Manage food safety protocols and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely procurement of ingredients and kitchen supplies
  • Monitor inventory levels, minimise waste, and control food costs effectively
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate staff performance to promote professional growth within the team
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen environment at all times
  • Assist in serving customers during busy periods when necessary, ensuring excellent hospitality standards
  • Collaborate with management on operational improvements and customer feedback to enhance overall service quality
