About The Role

Twisted Pair ltd are seeking a driven and detail-focused Business Administration Apprentice to join the team and support a range of departments. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience across key areas of the business while developing valuable professional skills. In this role, you'll play an active part in day-to-day operations, ensuring processes run smoothly and efficiently, and contributing to the success of the wider team.

Training to be provided:

Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship Standard. You will complete a 15-month apprenticeship which includes 12 days at the PETA training centre in Cosham. You will be supported every 6-8 weeks with visits from your PETA Learning & Development Coach.

About the role:

The Business Administration Apprentice will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Provide administrative support to multiple departments as needed
  • Manage correspondence, emails, and phone inquiries
  • Maintain and update records, files, and databases
  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes for staff
  • Perform general office duties such as photocopying, filing, and ordering supplies
  • Collaborate with team members to improve administrative processes
  • Perform other related tasks as assigned

Essential Skills:

It is essential that the Business Administration Apprentice has the following skills and personal qualities:

  • GCSEs in maths and English with at least a grade C/4
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a team
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
