Fraud Commercial Insight Analyst

Salary:
up to £45,000

Location:
Mixed between Central London and Southampton

Working Model:
5 days a week (ad hoc flexibility if needed)

ABOUT THE COMPANY/ROLE

An established organisation within the
transport and travel sector
is hiring a
Fraud Commercial Insight Analyst
to focus on analysing travel and transactional data - all to identify and reduce fraudulent activity.

This position offers a great opportunity for someone with strong analytical skills and commercial awareness to make a tangible impact in reducing fraud and improving revenue protection across a large network.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Analyse data from multiple sources to detect patterns and identify potential fraud
  • Produce intelligence reports and briefings for Fraud Investigators
  • Be a subject matter expert on fraud analysis and investigation methods
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners
  • Support deployment plans for targeted fraud investigations
  • Present insights and findings to non-technical stakeholders

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Required:

  • Strong Excel skills (modelling, analysis, data manipulation)
  • Proficiency with Power BI (Tableau also desirable)
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Detail-oriented and able to interpret complex data
  • Background in fraud, commercial analysis, finance, revenue, or crime data analysis (1–4 years' experience, or an exceptional graduate)

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in transport, retail, or public sector analytics
  • Familiarity with loss prevention or revenue protection systems
