We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Infrastructure Project Manager to oversee and manage our infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent project management skills, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams to deliver complex projects on time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning and Execution:
     Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation. Ensure projects are executed according to plan.
  • Stakeholder Management:
     Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including senior management, and team members. Provide regular updates on project status and address any issues or concerns.
  • Business Engagement:
     Work closely with the business to fully understand and track user adoption and compliance.
  • Risk Management:
     Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. Monitor and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Technical Expertise:
     Provide technical guidance and support to the team. Ensure infrastructure solutions meet business requirements and are scalable, secure, and reliable.
  • Quality Assurance:
     Implement quality assurance processes to ensure deliverables meet the highest standards.
  • Documentation:
     Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans and status reports.

Key Projects:

  • Implement new SharePoint standards to enhance security across teams and reduce potential oversharing risks
  • Lead initiatives to prepare the organisation for adoption and integration of AI technologies
  • Legacy Active Directory Deprecation - move away from hybrid identity to cloud only (Entra ID)
  • Perimeter Security - Review and implement new CDN based solution for all internet facing assets.

Qualifications:

  • Experience:
     Minimum of 10 years of experience in technical project management, with a focus on infrastructure projects.
  • Technical Skills:
     Strong understanding of infrastructure technologies, including Azure cloud computing, Sharepoint and Identity. Experience with project management tools and methodologies (especially Azure DevOps).
  • Soft Skills:
     Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK.

Location

The role is hybrid with a requirement to be at the client site once a week (London).

Rate

The day rate is £500-£600 outside IR35 depending on experience
