Events Organiser

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Event Organiser to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing a variety of events, ensuring that every aspect runs smoothly and meets the expectations of our clients. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Compensation:
- Commission-based pay: £7.50 per customer you bring in (for parties of 10 customers or more).
Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute events from conception to completion, including corporate functions, weddings, and fundraising activities.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and requirements for each event.
- Manage budgets effectively while exploring upselling opportunities to enhance event offerings.
- Coordinate logistics such as venue selection, catering, entertainment, and transportation.
- Oversee on-site event management to ensure everything runs according to plan.
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to secure the best services for events.
- Provide outstanding guest services before, during, and after events to ensure satisfaction.
- Handle any issues or emergencies that may arise during events with professionalism and poise.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in event planning or coordination is highly desirable.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple events simultaneously.
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is an advantage.
- Familiarity with hotel operations and event spaces is beneficial.
- Experience in fundraising events is a plus.
- Exceptional communication skills to liaise with clients, vendors, and team members effectively.
- A passion for delivering high-quality guest experiences in a fast-paced environment.
