Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and organised Event Organiser to plan, coordinate, and execute a variety of events across our organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of event planning, ensuring seamless delivery, and creating memorable experiences for attendees. This role offers an exciting opportunity to utilise your organisational skills, hospitality knowledge, and excellent communication abilities to deliver exceptional events that meet client expectations and organisational goals.
Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive event plans, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation
- Coordinate with vendors, venues, and suppliers to secure necessary services and equipment
- Manage event logistics such as setup, registration, catering, and technical requirements
- Upsell additional services or products to maximise revenue opportunities during events
- Oversee on-site event management to ensure smooth operations and address any issues promptly
- Maintain clear communication with clients and team members throughout the planning process
- Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during all stages of event execution
Requirements
- Proven experience in event organisation within hospitality, restaurant, hotel, or fundraising sectors is highly desirable
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent time management skills to meet tight deadlines and coordinate various tasks effectively
- Exceptional communication skills for liaising with clients, vendors, and team members
