Contract: Full time hours, Fixed term (until June 2026 with possible extension)
Salary: £200 to £300 per day (depending on experience)
The Company:**
Outsourced Events is one of the UK's leading end-to-end event management providers to the IT and professional services sectors. Established in 2001, we deliver more than 300 events each year for over 50 clients across EMEA and beyond. Our projects range from customer and prospect conferences to exhibitions and seminars, designed to connect senior decision-makers across global technology organisations.
With a close-knit team of around 50 based in West London, we take pride in our collaborative culture, commitment to excellence, and the trusted relationships we build with clients.
The Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Event Manager to join our team on a fixed-term contract basis until June 2026, supporting one of our largest cybersecurity clients. This role offers the opportunity to lead the planning and delivery of a portfolio of international events across EMEA, working closely with local field marketing teams and senior stakeholders.
You'll take ownership of multiple regional events (typically one-day conferences with 300+ attendees and 5 to 6 sponsors), ensuring each is delivered seamlessly, on time and within budget. The role requires confidence, autonomy and the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously in a fast-paced, international environment.
The key responsibilities of the role include:
- Leading end-to-end project management and onsite delivery for assigned events across key international regions within Europe, the Middle East and South Africa.
- Overseeing event budgets, reporting and financial tracking, ensuring cost control and accuracy.
- Collaborating closely with client field marketing leads to manage timelines, logistics and approvals.
- Providing additional resource and leadership support to local teams as needed.
- Coordinating suppliers, venues, catering, production, signage, travel and accommodation.
- Preparing and maintaining progress updates, reports and post-event summaries.
- Ensuring all assets and materials align with brand guidelines and client requirements.
- Leading onsite delivery with confidence, professionalism and a calm, solution-focused approach.
- Supporting the Strategic Event Manager on larger or high-profile events as required.
- Managing delegates, sponsors and speaker deliverables to ensure a smooth experience for all stakeholders.
- Ensuring full compliance with GDPR and Health & Safety standards.
- Mentoring junior or temporary team members during planning and onsite phases.
The Person:
You will be a confident Event Manager with proven experience delivering complex live events at a senior level. You'll thrive in a client-facing, fast-moving environment and bring strong ownership, problem-solving and communication skills.
You will bring:
- Proven experience managing large-scale, multi-region events.
- Strong financial acumen and confidence managing event budgets.
- Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
- Highly proactive and able to anticipate and address challenges quickly.
- Strong organisational skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
- Professional, composed and effective when leading onsite teams.
- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to produce clear reports and presentations.
- Comfortable working independently while collaborating within a broader team structure.
- Fluent in English (additional languages an advantage).
- Willing and able to travel internationally for event delivery and client meetings.
Why join us?
This is a unique opportunity to work on a high-profile international programme with a leading cybersecurity client, supported by an experienced, friendly and collaborative team at Outsourced Events.
If you're an accomplished event professional looking for an exciting new challenge with a global reach, we'd love to hear from you.
Start date: ASAP
Contract duration: October 2025 – June 2026 (potential to extend)
