The Opportunity: Dual Care Focus
We require staff with an interest and willingness to work across both our established Learning Disabilities services and our new Mental Health service. You will be instrumental in fostering independence and enriching lives through community inclusion for all individuals we support.
- A key part of this rewarding role involves supporting adults with learning disabilities to engage actively within the vibrant Weymouth community, whether it's enjoying local attractions, participating in social groups, or simply running errands.
- You will also be essential in helping us establish and deliver high-quality support within our new mental health service, assisting individuals with complex needs to manage their well-being and thrive.
We're looking for genuinely dedicated and compassionate people who are passionate about their work, enjoy delivering one-to-one assistance, and can build positive relationships. As a Support Worker, you'll play a vital role in providing compassionate care and help, ensuring the physical, emotional, and social well-being of the individuals we support across both care areas.
Flexible Hours & Essential Skills
We're looking for both part-time and full-time team members, offering flexibility to suit your lifestyle. 24-hour shifts are highly desirable, and these involve a 15-hour day followed by a sleep-in night, allowing you to provide consistent and comprehensive support and build meaningful connections. However, we're also flexible for part-time schedules if 24-hour shifts aren't suitable for you.
To best support the individuals we serve, the ability to work evenings and alternate weekends is essential. You'll also be encouraged to work across our services to gain diverse experience assisting different individuals in various environments.
Drivers are highly desirable as this can enhance community access, but non-drivers are welcome to apply as well. We actively support and utilize alternative transport methods, such as public transport, to ensure everyone can fully engage with their community.

You will be able to work shifts of 24 hours, which will include evenings, weekends, bank holidays, and sleeping nights. Salary: £23,400per annum - £28,490 per annum
Other Requirements:
Criminal Background Check: Willing to undergo a criminal background check as required by law.
Valid Driver's License: A valid driver's license is highly desirable.
References: Able to provide 2 references from previous employers and/or relevant individuals.
