Yards Person & Valeter | Horsham Area | c£ per hour (Negotiable) + Benefits

We have an opening for a Yards Person / Valeter based near the Horsham facility to join very busy workshop and storage company.

The company deal with commercial vehicles, whether van or HGV units. The company has been established for a substantial period of time.

Duties;

  • Cleaning and valeting vehicles to a high standard
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the yard
  • Assisting with vehicle movements and deliveries
  • Reporting any issues or damage promptly
  • Supporting the wider team with general site duties
  • Keeping workshop, yard and special tool store clean and tidy
  • Use of industrial cleaner to deep clean workshop floor, emptying bins and removing scrap items and place in recycled areas
  • Assisting with vehicle movements in the yard to aid productivity of the workshop technicians
  • Cleaning courtesy vehicles, general husbandry
  • Show a great deal of self-motivation in the way in which duties are conducted
  • Must hold and maintain a current full driving licence
  • Holding an HGV License would be a major advantage and command a higher rate of pay

Experience Required;

  • A strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A positive, can-do attitude
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Previous experience in valeting or yard work
  • Come from a proven and stable employment background

Salary guide:

  • Starting £12.50 to £ per hour (Negotiable DOE) + Benefits
  • Monday to Friday 8a.m. to 5:30p.m.

This is a permanent position with an immediate start. This position would suit someone who likes a varies position and who is looking for an immediate start.
