Trainee Recruitment Consultant – Academy Programme

The Company

Our client is a specialist SAP / IT recruitment business with offices in the UK and mainland Europe and a growing presence in the US. They partner with major organisations on ERP and technology projects across the UK, Europe and North America.

They are now investing in their
academy programme
– a structured route to develop raw sales talent into high-performing recruitment consultants.

right attitude, work ethic and hunger to learn
, they will teach you everything you need to know.

Key Responsibilities

  • Learn the full recruitment lifecycle from experienced consultants (full training provided)
  • Speak to candidates daily, qualifying skills, motivations and career goals
  • Use phone, LinkedIn and social media to identify and approach talent
  • Write and post job adverts that attract the right candidates
  • Shortlist and present candidates to consultants for live vacancies
  • Build long-term relationships with candidates in the SAP / IT community
  • Gradually take on more responsibility for account management and business development as you progress

What they're looking for

  • Some
    sales, telesales, call centre, SDR or customer-facing experience
    is ideal, but not essential
  • A genuine desire to
    work in sales
    and earn excellent money through your own results
  • Confident, articulate communication style – especially on the phone
  • Strong
    organisation skills
    – able to plan your day and follow through
  • Resilience, positivity and the ability to bounce back from setbacks
