Willow Rose is a cheerful home located in Willenhall, providing care for up to 73 residents across three suites. Culture and community are at the heart of the home, which celebrates a hugely diverse and rich representation of backgrounds amongst its residents, their families, support networks and our staff.
The home is also an integral part of the local community, welcoming visitors from charities, schools, colleges and religious speakers from a broad spectrum of spiritual backgrounds. With a busy calendar of events, there's always plenty going on – from visiting dancers, BBQs, parties, birthdays and anniversaries to celebrations of an array of holidays. Church Rose is also renowned for its commitment to mental health and resident wellbeing, with charities paying frequent visits and an activities programme designed to help people live well and enjoy life.
What is expected from you:
- 50/50 - Clinical / Supernumerary split
- Support the Manager in the implementation of all policies, procedures and business objectives.
- Act as a focal point for contact with residents, their relatives and visitors, as well as health and social care professionals.
- Liaise with the Home Manager across the range of operational activities such as; assume responsibility for managing the Home during the manager's absences, marketing the Home to existing and potential residents and relatives, planning Rota's and adhering to Budgets.
What the Job entails:
- To support the Registered Manager in keeping with the ethos of Macc Care Homes from beginning to end including completing person centred assessments and support plans, recruitment and development of team, marketing, stakeholder engagement and implementing efficient and effective systems and processes that provide the foundations towards an Outstanding service for our service users.
- To continuously monitor the operations of the service, evaluate them and where improvements can be made take the necessary action to implement change through negotiation and agreement.
- To ensure that all necessary records are complete, accurate and legible, and available to authorised persons when required.
- To provide regular, formal supervision, induction and appraisals to the team.
- To evaluate the team's overall development needs (including the manager's own needs), encourage all personnel to assist in this evaluation, discuss and plan for how identified needs are met.
- To be a positive role model to ensure we have highly motivated staff teams
- Top act up in the absence of the Registered Manager.
- Drawing on your experience as a nurse, you'll provide day to day support and guidance to our team of nurses - promoting our residents' independence, choice and dignity
