Content Manager
, you'll play a key role in shaping how
SPT Labtech
communicates its innovations to scientists worldwide. You'll transform technical insights into compelling digital content that strengthens our brand, drives awareness, and supports demand-generation across a range of channels.
In this role, you'll collaborate closely with product, digital, and commercial teams to plan, create, and optimise content that engages defined personas and supports strategic campaigns, particularly within the rapidly evolving Genomics market across multiple channels. You'll support the Marketing Director and Digital Manager in driving and delivering integrated global marketing and digital campaigns. Your key responsibilities will include:
Content & Digital Campaign Development
- Work closely with product managers to translate product offerings and value propositions into clear, compelling content that supports targeted campaign activity.
- Create high-converting content and digital assets, including landing pages, emails, nurture tracks, social content, and gated resources to support lead-generation with a strong focus on the Genomics market.
- Utilise SEO insights to guide content creation and optimisation to maximise organic engagement and high-intent traffic.
Campaign Strategy
- Partner with the Digital Manager to contribute to campaign planning, including audience segmentation, channel selection, messaging frameworks, and content asset mapping.
- Use persona insights and value-proposition frameworks to create personalised content that strengthens brand awareness and supports lead-generation objectives.
Digital Platforms & Channel Optimization
- Create content tailored for digital channels, including SEO, paid media, social media, email, and third-party advertising platforms, ensuring it is optimised to maximise engagement and conversion.
- Ensure content aligns with platform requirements and best practices to improve performance.
Essential Skills & Attributes
- Experience in creating content and digital assets across multiple formats and channels.
- Strong copywriting and editing skills tailored to defined personas and buyer-journey stages.
- Ability to utilise SEO insights and data to develop and optimise content.
- Confident using social media for engagement and inbound traffic generation.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to support campaign strategy.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Proactive, innovative, and eager to develop new skills.
Desired Skills & Attributes
- B2B content marketing experience in Life Sciences, Engineering, or Manufacturing.
- Understanding of marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot) to support content-driven automation, segmentation, and personalisation.
- Proven project management ability and experience working with agencies.
- Ability to communicate and influence at all levels.
- Experience using Adobe Creative Suite.
