Resourcing Solutions are North Yorkshire Council's dedicated Resourcing specialist and are definitely not a standard, traditional recruitment team. We are a flexible, professional in-house recruitment service, offering hybrid working, which enables us to support North Yorkshire Council and our partners effectively.

Due to growth and promotion within our service, we are looking for talented and ambitious colleagues to join our team in what we believe to be an exciting opportunity to make a real difference to the recruitment journey for both candidates & recruiting managers. This role is a fantastic opportunity to develop your recruitment skills or gain recruitment experience in our award winning team.

As a Recruitment Coordinator you will provide advice and guidance to candidates and hiring managers with all matters relating to the recruitment journey. You will play a crucial role in shaping the organisations workforce by effectively managing the recruitment process and ensuring a positive experience for candidates by overseeing the end to end hiring process, including posting job vacancies, assisting managers, hiring paperwork and producing contracts. You will be working alongside the wider Resourcing Solutions team whilst also taking ownership over your own day to day workload and responsibilities.

To be successful in Resourcing Solutions you will:

  • Experience dealing with a high volume of tasks at one time, or be willing to learn how to deal with this

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with hiring managers and candidates

  • Ability to effectively handle deadlines and tight schedules in line with department SLA's

  • Have problem solving skills and use own initiative to resolve problems using resources available

  • Be able to develop your professional knowledge to enable you to become an expert in your field

  • Have a good understanding of IT packages including, Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel etc.

  • Have exceptional customer service skills, an inquisitive nature and a can do attitude
