NonStop Care is working with one of the most
reputable charities
in Gloucestershire to help them find a Family support worker full-time who can tackle working in a community family support worker role.
This can be a permanent contract role to start as soon as possible, for someone with a lot of experience, to tackle the work with families, potentially turning into a permanent role if both parties would like so.
You will need working knowledge of interventions to families, driving change in your work with parents. You would also need knowledge of what thresholds are or the legislation that underpins how we make decisions about, and take action on, risk to children.
The role involves holding a caseload of 12 families, and contributing to the development of a Family Hub approach across Stroud and Cotswolds.
Responsibilities Of The Family Support Worker
- direct work with children, young people and their families
- delivering evidence based interventions
- undertaking assessments to child and adults
Requirements Of The Family Support Worker
Must be a driver and have access to own car
Must have experience working with children and young people and their families and/or carers
Working knowledge of the legislation related to working with children at risk
