The Lighthouse is looking to recruit a Support Worker to join their team.

Full and Part time positions available

Shift Pattern: Earlies, Lates and long days, weekend work included

£13.60per hour

The Lighthouse is a 5-bedded residential home for females aged The Lighthouse provides a unique package of care and supports 24 hours a day and 365 days a year for young people within our care system. This provision is part of Priory's transitional living services for young people requiring support with risk taking behaviours offering the best possible care in their recovery journey.

The Lighthouse is a large detached house near to Stroud Town Centre, We provide a high ratio of care, which enables a robust and proactive approach to risk management, whilst supporting people to engage with meaningful activity in the community.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a caring nature
  • Empathy, understanding and patience
  • Ability to work on your own and as part of a team
  • Ability to understand and follow policies and procedure
  • The ability to anticipate and respond to challenges
  • Competent in verbal and written English
