What you'll be doing

  • Shape the employee journey: Design and deliver programmes that make every stage of the lifecycle—from onboarding to exit—positive and impactful.
  • Drive engagement: Lead our Group Engagement Survey and lifecycle surveys, turning data into actionable insights that boost retention and performance.
  • Be a culture catalyst: Embed inclusion and respect through transformation initiatives, ensuring we truly Value Everyone.
  • Empower leaders and champions: Equip managers and Engagement Champions with tools, resources, and inspiration to foster high engagement.
  • Stay ahead of the curve: Bring fresh ideas from external networks and best practice to keep Balfour Beatty at the forefront of employee experience.

  • Strong analytical skills to turn data into strategies that tackle retention risks and boost engagement.
  • Experience in project management, survey design, and collaboration with internal teams and suppliers.
  • Skilled in facilitating focus groups, building relationships, and influencing at all levels.
  • Broad HR/L&D expertise with a passion for creating inclusive cultures.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to inspire and engage stakeholders.
