with a strong presence across global financial centres. The London Fund Finance team provides bespoke lending products across the capital structure, supporting clients throughout the fund lifecycle.

Role Overview

We are seeking a
Fund Finance Associate
to join the London team, focusing on the
execution of NAV (Net Asset Value) finance transactions
. The role offers a unique opportunity to work on complex, cross-border financings for leading alternative investment managers, gaining hands-on experience in structuring, execution, and portfolio management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the
    execution of NAV-based and hybrid fund financing transactions
    , from initial structuring through to closing.
  • Conduct detailed
    financial analysis and modelling
    of fund portfolios and underlying assets.
  • Coordinate internal workstreams across
    credit risk, legal, operations, and treasury
    teams to ensure seamless execution.
  • Assist in the
    review and negotiation of legal documentation
    , liaising with internal counsel and external law firms.
  • Prepare
    credit papers, internal presentations, and approval materials
    for senior stakeholders.
  • Monitor existing transactions, including covenant compliance, performance tracking, and risk reporting.
  • Support origination initiatives through market research, client materials, and pipeline management.

Skills & Experience

  • 2–5 years' experience in
    fund finance, leveraged finance, private credit, or structured lending
    , ideally with exposure to
    NAV-based facilities
    .
  • Solid understanding of
    fund structures
    , including private equity, private credit, and real assets vehicles.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in
    financial modelling
    and
    credit assessment
    .
  • Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
  • High attention to detail, commercial acumen, and a proactive, collaborative mindset.
  • Degree in finance, economics, accounting, or related field; professional qualifications (e.g., CFA, ACA) advantageous.
