Landpower and the CLAAS Harvest Centre network is the largest privately-owned farm machinery distribution network in Australasia. We sell and service machinery to farmers and their contractors from our locations throughout New Zealand and Australia.
Our Christchurch, Melbourne and Perth offices co-ordinate wholesale activities and provide support functions. As a family-owned business we recognise the importance and value of the long-term relationships that we have grown over the last 45 years with our international partners.
What's the job?
This role is primarily focused on managing and maintaining the company's incoming payments from customers. Following up on overdue accounts to secure payments, negotiating terms if necessary. Preparing reports on accounts receivable status, aging of receivables, and cash flow forecasts for management review.
Key responsibilities include:
- Daily bank account reconciliation.
- Following up on payments and managing overdue debtors.
- Maintaining regular contact with customers for collection of outstanding debts.
- Compiling weekly debtor reports
- Performing all month-end related tasks for accounts receivable.
- Managing accounts receivable inbox.
- Providing back up support for other Accounts functions within the Landpower group.
We're looking for:
- 2+ years' experience working in a similar role within a commercial organisation.
- Experience with an ERP system and adaptable by nature.
- Competent user of Excel to analyse information.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- A professional level of communication
