Working hours Monday - Friday, 9am - 3pm*
Nexxus care are looking for a full time care home coordinator to join Bracken House, Burntwood.
The role of a care home coordinator is to provide administrative support within the Care Home to ensure the smooth running of the administration within the service.
Hours of role to be discussed further at telephone screening.
This will include duties such as (list is not exhaustive):
Scheduling care assistant rosters
Submitting payroll
Care home finances
Cash handling - ensuring accurate records are maintained, receipts are issued
Maintain accurate petty cash systems
Update third party suppliers, family members and health care professionals
Knowledge, understanding and practical experience of IT packages is required
Willingness to develop knowledge and skills and the current technology used in Care Homes.
The post-holder is expected to work as part of a close-knit care team and have the capability to work on their own initiative
About YouThe ideal candidate will have an extensive knowledge of the care sector and hold a minimum of 1 year supervisory experience. In addition, the ideal candidate will have knowledge on effective rostering and understanding of forward planning.
Knowledge of Access Workspace/Evo products would be advantageous.
Candidates must have experience of technology systems, auditing processes and be confident in all forms of communication including verbal and written.

Nexxus endeavours to provide our Residents with a safe place where they are looked after according to their needs, by supporting with washing, dressing, toileting, administering medication and supporting mobility needs. Our Residents are afforded a home away from home and can treat the setting as their own home. Our purpose as a residential care home is to ensure that people who cannot live independently, but do not require nursing care are well looked after and can continue to lead meaningful lives.
